don't have kids then
If Obama doesnt extend Making Work Pay tax credit, its going to cost a married couple with 2 kids $800 per year. This isnt for the rich, just average working families. There you go R13, defend it.

You do realize that this tax cut has already been extended, because it was his tax cut that came with his stimulus genius. Pretty easy to defend, since it was his tax cut and it wouldn't cost anyone anything since it's a tax credit and just two years old. Someone didn't think this one through, did they? lmao
its already been extended IIRC, but I dont want to hear right-wingers complain about gov't spending and the deficit and then turn around and want stuff like this extended. This was a great cut, and I support it being extended, but right-wingers need to make up their mind.
Do they want to balance the budget, or keep these nice perks?

Btw it's for everyone, not just couples. 400 for a single person and 800 for married couples(kids don't matter), you just have to be employed to receive it. Again it wasn't a Bush cut(most of those were for the wealthy), this was Obama's cut and has been extended, so indeed thank you Obama.
